There are some couples who love the extravagance, the glitz, and the pomp and circumstance that come with a grandiose wedding ceremony and reception, while there are others who prefer quiet, simple and lowkey for their big day. The wide variety in styles is what makes being in the wedding industry so fun and interesting.
With Glennys and Michael, we have the latter. A sweet, simple ceremony at City Hall earlier in the day, the newlyweds celebrated their nuptials at Gigino’s at Wagner Park in downtown Manhattan.
It was a gorgeous evening, the weather being just right and the celebratory guests in attendance smiling, laughing and drinking into the night. Much of the decor and motifs were designed and created by the couple themselves, adding to their bespoke style (check out the icing-less cake since the couple aren’t big fans of icing!).
All in all, it was a wonderful day and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to capture this fine event. Congrats to Glennys and Michael!
